Does anyone have loading recipes for THIS combination. For other 45 acp loads l use 5.0 grains col 1.270 Maybe 1.260 and great success with Rn bullets Thanks for any Info. perttime
Extreme suggests 1.230” C.O.A.L. for the 230gr HP https://xtremebullets.com/v/vspfiles/downloadables/RELOADING MANUAL2023.pdf Couldn't find specific recipies.... I'd start at 3.9 or 4.0gr.
dogtired
Is this to make power factor? Or just to fling lead? To make power factor 165k/230=717 fps minimum. Of course you need to chrono loads. Addition powder over minimum recommendations may improve accuracy and/or function but you will only find that out by testing in your gun.
RePete
I'm running 4.4gr/Bullseye with the 230gr plated and that gives me about 176000PF. I did run 4.2gr but the gun felt sluggish. I suggest going 4.2gr first, check for feel and PF, I did run 4.8gr but the recoil was a bit much. Hope this helps.

zzt
I have to ask why 230s. Most bullseye shooters use 200 LSWC or 185s. A 200 LSWC @ 800fps is the 'quintessential' bullseye load. Most load lighter unless they are shooting long course. Also, Xtreme is not the brand I'd pick for accuracy.

Everybody else seems to assume that the goal is to make IPSC/USPSA Major PF using Bullseye powder.
