IDPA's Rules have changed greatly from the genesis in 1997.  Today's Rules are much nearer USPSA rules than before.

IDPA still has not learned.  The first World IDPA match had SO squads shooting by vehicle lights.  Not just dark but "dark dark" in the Florida swamp.

I was surprised that it was held so late in Fall. You're running out of daylight on some of the longer matches.

I think they also start pretty late, like hammer down at 9? Probably should make that 8 at the latest this time of year.

Not just the SOs, I have a friend's squad pictures just after their last stage, illuminated by headlights.

At least WML's are legal. If you don't have one it's on you?? 

 

It'd be pretty sick if they did a nationals where you shot one whole section at night in the dark.
