Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Looking here: https://cajungunworks.com/how-to-select-the-proper-recoil-spring/ Don't tune the springs according to bullet weight but according to ejection patterns.
  2. Trying to figure out the recoil spring tuning. Any information would be appreciated. My understanding is the lighter the bullet the lighter the spring? 9 mm 115 should be 10 lb spring 147 should be higher? Or am I misunderstanding this?
  3. Still have the certs for LOK Grips?

  4. Do you mark or number your magazines and rotate them?
  5. Staging has helped me. I stage as I present.
  6. I usually "warm up" with some drills I want to use a timer for. I won't always use a timer, but before a match I will pressure test my dry fire drills.
  7. In Tim Herron's class, he also gave us a card of dry erase and a marker. Take a shot, look down and mark a rough area on where you think you hit. Repeat for a few shots and inspect. Start at 10 yards and go back 5 as you get faster/more accurate.
  8. In the Last Samurai, the scene of "Too Many Mind" is explained as to not focus on the people around you, the grass, and so on. But to envision your techniques. Then Tom Cruise slow plays the technique in his mind, which is a great example of what aphantasia can block. It apparently comes in different "levels". Some people can see some shapes, and then different levels of vividness. It also impacts how much people dream. Kinda crazy.
  9. I was surprised that it was held so late in Fall. You're running out of daylight on some of the longer matches.
  10. For SSP you can use other guide rods as long as they are not heavier than stainless steel.
  11. While I do not have the Legion, I have the 4.7 TXG, with procut slide, plate, optic, extended mag plate and mag well it sat at 43 or 44.5 oz.
  12. Trying to get more folks in the matches.
