GSG 1911 .22 dovetail red dot mounting plate?

Anybody running a red dot on their GSG in the dovetail? What plate are you using?

 

Maybe an EGW plate for a Novak cut?

Wish that was available 15 or 20 years ago!

I ended up putting a CMORE rail mount on mine.

 

Now to add the +4 basepads!

EGW makes a plate for a Novak cut that will work, but they said it might need some fitting.

 

The slides on these GSG are pot metal or aluminum. I don't want to mess with the dove tail. I'll file the plate if I need to.

I ordered parts to rebuild mine after I wore it out.

Got them from a place (can't recall the name) in Arizona. Replace the safety and some springs and the slide stop was worn out.

Nice gun but too much aluminum to last like the Buck Marks or Rugers.

Honestly fitting a dovetail sight anything isnt overly hard, usually just a little time consuming. Seems like I've seen a lot of them that also have set screwed to.ensure it doesn't move. Plus no alterations to the slide itself is a big plus
