Echelon Factory Recoil Spring Weight

You might inquire at Apex; they are selling a steel guide rod for the Echelon.

Randy Lee says the stock spring is so stout that he includes a "compression tool" to help get it back together.  He doesn't list replacement springs, so you would be on a search for something that would fit the gun.

Thanks for the tip, Jim. I'll do that.

Apparently Springer Precision is also selling a guide rod, and springs. 14-22lbs, supposedly for Echelon and XDM, 4.5" and 5.25" versions. They probably know what stock spring weighs.

This is what I received from Springer Precision:

The factory recoil spring is 17lbs but we have been using the 16lbs recoil spring and we prefer it for factory ammo.

Sincerely,
