Jeff Matzka
Does anyone know what the new Springfield Echelon's factory recoil spring weight is? Just shot mine for the first time yesterday, and wouldn't mind a bit lighter weight spring.
Jim Watson
You might inquire at Apex; they are selling a steel guide rod for the Echelon. Randy Lee says the stock spring is so stout that he includes a "compression tool" to help get it back together. He doesn't list replacement springs, so you would be on a search for something that would fit the gun.

mpom
Apparently Springer Precision is also selling a guide rod, and springs. 14-22lbs, supposedly for Echelon and XDM, 4.5" and 5.25" versions. They probably know what stock spring weighs. Mark

AzDanMan
This is what I received from Springer Precision: The factory recoil spring is 17lbs but we have been using the 16lbs recoil spring and we prefer it for factory ammo.
