  1. hmm good question im not sure but i feel like its likely that it is i talked to the guy at zr tactical about the long stroke guide rod for my 5" pdp and he said the 14lb on the long stroke is a custom, extra long and wider inner diameter ismi spring that being said, i am running an 11lb glock ismi spring on my standard length guide rod so i think youll be ok
  2. what reduced striker springs are you using?
  3. guys it's important to know that the length of the spring matters a lot. the zr long stroke uses an ismi 14 pounder but the spring is super long. the longer it is, the more compressed it is when its in the gun. more compression is more force to keep the slide closed at rest. the weight of the spring isnt enough to determine what will work across two different guns
  4. how does one acquire this? lol it seems to be always out of stock
  5. yessir! hope you are doing good man! appreciate it! im sticking with polymer this season so just wanted to be sure. i just bought a spare barrel so now im curious to see what the barrel lug looks like lol i want the steel frames but they aren't super available and now i may wait until they round these issues out haha
  6. hey @ngodwetrust21, I am still running the polymer rivals that i bought back in jan 2023. had you had any of these issues on your polymer rivals (aside from the overinsertion thing)? How many rounds do you have on your polymer rivals? I am trying to see if i need to anticipate a barrel lug breakage or not lol
  7. hey sorry its the FP but the RNs are just find too. i like the clean hole that the FPs leave in the target (for scoring reasons). i was just ordering 355 but i bet you could get a little more out of 356 with the same powder charge no worries at all!
  8. try it out i had 2 shadow 2s and one was a little faster than the other so i made that my match gun but they both were within 2-3 PF of eachother
  9. hey man! i actually think you are pretty safe with this load. last chrono was 129 (havent shot the shadows in a while). this is a pretty common load from what ive seen. length is 1.1 - pretty short since its a shadow 2. this is from carolina classic 2022:
  10. good points! sounds like a non issue!
  11. question for you guys on this thread....is it possible that the FS triggers remove so much pre-travel that it disables the firing pin block? Looking at how the gun functions, the firing pin block is depressed pretty early in the stroke by the first hump in the trigger bar. The FS triggers reduce most of the pre-travel. i think its likely that the firing pin block is depressed when the trigger is at rest because of how much of the stroke it reduces just curious if anyone had the same thoughts or knew for instance, on a walther, overwatch precision offers a reduced pretravel trigger. the trigger bar is clearly modified in this kit when you compare it to stock. the modification is to the first hump in the trigger bar so that it hits the firing pin block "later" in the stroke. this accounts for the reduced pre-travel, ensuring the safeties are still functional The FS doesn't come wirh a modified bar
  12. i recently picked up some 3n38 and im having some trouble with the metering in my 750. targetting 8.5 grns, ill get anywhere from 8.1grn to 8.8grn im using headstamp sorted, roll sized brass i cant seem to figure out what the issue is
  13. oh i agree! i guess i just didnt want to commit to a platform change until i was sure it would ya know?
