ColoradoNick
I just checked practiscore I have 43 matches on MBX springs/followers and henning base pads. 24+1 works in all 6 mags and zero issues. I just ordered six new springs to replace this winter. Edited November 3, 2023 by ColoradoNick
EvilNuff
Not shadow 2 but for my p10f I have some henning basepads with mbx followers and if I load to 23 I get a FTF consistently on the first shot. Have to stop at 22 in those. So the mbx followers may be great for S2 but they are definitely bad for p10s.

I found it odd that MBX followers are the same for the 75 and p10 mags. Grams has a different one for the 75 than what they offer for the p10... It looks like Rune Tactical has separate offerings as well Edited November 3, 2023 by BMSMB

Weird, I have 4 of them used in a DWX (sold) that I'm now using in a P10F setup for my wife. Admittedly I only have about 1000 rounds through them in the DWX and maybe 200 through the P10F but also zero issues 24+1. Is the rest of the gun stock? Other than a brass backstrap yes gun was stock. I later upgraded to a tungsten guide rod and still have the problem before and after. Stock otherwise. 3 of the mags and it happens with all 3 regularly when I load them to 23 rounds.
RV76
MBX spring/followers, Henning base pads with CZ nickel plated mags. Ran set of 4 April thru October over 20 local matches, 2 sectionals and 1 area plus practice weekly. Ran flawless 24+ plus 1 thru Shadow 2. 25 F - 90F temps. Rune had feeding issues. Initially bought one of each rune and mbx to test. No break in period for MBX got 24+ 1 first use. Had issues with rune in another platform never able to get 24+ 1.. stick
I added the Henning DWX magazine extension and MBX spring and follower for 24+1. I can realistically get 24 rounds in the gun. The +1 (barney load) makes the mag with 24 hard to seat properly.
BigPerformer337
Does anyone run a P10F Competition and have success with aftermarket followers? I've run Grams, MBX, and CSRG follower/spring set ups and while the MBX worked for awhile in my normal P10F, all three of these caused FTF in my P10F Competition. I know the barrel is different for this model so I'm assuming whatever they did to the feed ramp has something to do with it. It jams up hard and slices the head of the bullet. I've not had any success with those followers in my P10F either. From my conversations with Keanu @ CSRG, the P10 magazine + barrel feed ramp aren't really designed well for use with the thin competition followers. While I could get 24 (almost 25) +1 with CSRG guts and MBX guts, I was experiencing a lot of FTFs and nosediving issues. I don't know that you can get that capacity reliably through the P10. I have close friends with success running it 21/22+1 with stock followers and aftermarket extensions (CZC, TTI, etc) but haven't pushed it past that due to those issues. I've relegated it to being a Prod15 gun in the future. I've had success with CSRG magazine internals in several other handguns though. Glock/Shadow 2 both like them a lot. I'll be testing them with my M&P 2.0 as well.

I may see if my gunsmith can make anything happen with the feed ramp but certainly not the end of the world by any means. I usually only run one mag with the specialty followers in case a stage really calls for it. Otherwise the reliability is way more important to me. I’ve had good success with the CSRG in Glock mags and am testing them out in some Shadow 2 mags as well.
ringram
Update.. Binned the Rune, too many intermittent issues. They wear out too fast. I got an updated kit from Rune, apparently the early ones had issues.. The newer one was better, but still not reliable enough for matches. Now using MBX zero issues so far. But the 24th is not going in yet.
VeilAndrew
I've had 24+1 in my Shadow 2 with Henning extensions or TTI extensions and CSRG guts or MBX guts from day 1 of install. Reloadable 23. What extensions are you using?

Tabasco
Anyone else have a issue with the Runes not dropping out with the mag release when they are empty? I know that is rare in matches, more a foul up when it does, but I run into this with both mags I have set up.
