Holosons Chevron versus dot

For me, chevron/triangles/etc seem cool at first but at speed they get used as giant dots and there's not enough pinpoint shots in USPSA at the distance you zeroed the triangle tip at to make that worthwhile.

I like the Chevron.  Use the point for precision or use the whole chevron for speed.  Not that you asked about the ACSS reticle but I the large circle too for odd shooting positions where I don't have my natural presentation.

The chevron on mine is not all that crisp.  That negates the potential increase in precision. I think I’d do as well with a small dot.

This was a spare that I’d bought on sale a while back. I just put it on my ‘90s vintage Para to play in LO. So I have yet to try it out in an actual match.

As noted by others, it just gets used like a dot. And for USPSA shooting, that will be precise enough.
