Jsjac
I am looking to move the case feeder to the left side of the press and turn it 90°. This would allow me to push the press back about 6". I have the spring to use as the drop tube but need something for both ends of the spring. To attach it to the case feeder and the drop tube on the press. I have seen a post about these pieces before but my use of the search feature did not work to good. I can make them if I have to,but it would be much easier to just buy the parts. When this is done I will be able to finally get the 1100 set up. Thanks in advance for your help. Jeff
warpspeed
I don't have a 650 to look at but many people who use a S1050 mount the feeder off-press. I don't see why you couldn't do the same as it is the same feeder. Check out the feed tube on the Rollsizer - you don't need a spring as the 2 points never move. dillon
Is the clear plastic case feed tube on your 650 the same length as that on the RL1100, or a couple of inches shorter? If it is the same length, then you can switch to the later 650 case feed post, which is shorter, and oriented a bit differently.
Jsjac
Thank you for the tip. I found a couple adapters to use a spring for the drop tube. I will try them first. If it doesn't work out I will try the newer 650 setup.

I think the adapters are around $11.00 each and the set screws are around a dollar each. Jsjac
I swapped around my 650 today. Moved it back 5" onto the bench. I turned the case feeder and mounted the bullet feeder to the shelf behind the press.

ronn
Where did you get the drop spring from. I want to do a similar setup with the spring and adapters to be able to switch the case feeder between two presses mounted Side by side.

As a potentially simpler alternative, I did this with two 650s by switching the case feeder setscrew for a knob (it is simple 1/4-20) and I would just lift it off and move it post to post. I even mounted a pipe over by the Lee APP I had before migrating to the RL1100. Edited March 28, 2023 by mmc45414 Added pic

OptimiStick
Ohh, I could use those ends on a project as I'm trying to relocate my rollsizer, decapper and change up my case-feeder arrangement. You say Mark7 has them? Is there a part #?
