tomjerry1
I want to remove 1.5" from the barrel of my S&W 929, does anyone know where I can get a new sight base? Bowen is out of stock.
ysrracer
Wiegand is out too https://www.jackweigand.com/interfs.html I would think anybody with the tools to cut the barrel could make you one. It's not that complex of a part.

ysrracer
I bought a few of them from Bowen, and I'm glad I did. I also bought a few SDM Super Sights fiber optic front sights, and a few Wiegand rear blades. I run a .250 SDM Super Sights fiber optic front sight http://www.sdmfabricating.com/Super_Sights.html It's got a bigger fiber optic than a Dawson. tomjerry1
Sorry I wasn't very clear, but I did look up that sight base and it is .25x.25x.1.75. I just didn't look at you pictures close enough, all the info was right in plain sight. Guess I will need to get on the mill.
pskys2
I have a m28 that I had machined for a dovetail fs, looks good. Used a 627 v comp Dawson fs. Have a m29 with a weigand base such as you're looking for. Fwiw I would do the dovetail again.

Pseudonym
You may want to actually give Bowen a call or e-mail. The last 2 rear sights I purchased showed out of stock, I called he had the parts ready, but had not assembled and listed them on the website.
