Chills1994
My LGS has a used CZ-75 in .40S&W. It is on consignment for $525. Yeah, yeah, I know pics would help, but is there anything I should keep an eye out for if I go back for a second look? I am trying to rack the ol’ memory banks here. That has to be the first CZ-75 I have seen in .40 cal . I still have plenty of .40 brass and projectiles. Would my Mec Gar 9mm CZ-75 mags work in it (like my Beretta 92 mags work in my 96’s).? GrumpyOne
They should. I have an old P9 clone that is in 40, the 9mm mags do work in it, but you may want to open the feed lips a bit.

Chills1994
Here are the two CZ’s that I have now: The 9mm MecGars that I have now have the +2 bases.
eerw
the mecgar AFC mags should be no problem, pistol I am guessing is either 75B 40 DA/SA or 75B40 SA only the older 9mm mags, the feedlips will need to be opened up to get the round higher in the mag to feed. It is definitely a double action to single action gun. Here are some pics:

Chills1994
I did bring one of my MecGar 9mm mags along. It locked in just fine, and the slide cycled just fine with that mag in too. Thanks for the replies Mr. Grumpy and Mr. eerw

JBhunter45
Standard CZ 75B DA/SA . They made the black, duotone, and a full silver finish back then. Notice the heavier full profile slide, without the taper like a 9mm.

Yeah, I noticed that the .40 slide didn’t have the “Hi-Power cut”. I made it to the range today with factory ammo. It seemed to like the 155 grain Federal (American Eagle) ammo the best: 10 shot group…slow deliberate, 2 handed, freestyle (not using a rest)
Chills1994
Oh, yeah, that .40 cal ammo ran just fine through that 9mm MecGar magazine. No problems whatsoever. Can hold 14 rounds of .40.

bravofox
looks to be in decent shape, mecgar mags should work fine in 9 or 40, the trigger on the 75 has nothing on the shadow though. looks like a good deal. I would save up for a shadow in my experience
