    SIG P226 Value

I have to respectfully disagree with the previous post, my best advice would be to go to gun broker and watch what they're actually selling for (click watch of the auctions with bids and youll be able to see the selling price). my guess would be ~800 depending on condition, quality of modifications, etc

    Shadow 2 barrel

im not sure whay the exact question is, but this my experience. a friend of mine got a barrel for his TSO from barsto, and its pretty nice. it's threaded, and I made a comp for him. but I looked for a factory TSO upper for over 2 years before giving up, if that's any indication. I've also been waiting for factory 455/457 barrels to be available for 5 years. CZ would definitely rather sell guns than parts.
  3. the psa ept didn't work out. tried an ALG QMS, it worked ok. I changed it out for a regular old mil-spec and now it won't bump fire even if I try to. I might try a "PCC" trigger in the future, depending on if I like shooting a rifle at a pistol match lol. thanks for all the input guys
  4. I personally would not buy any optic that didn't have a lifetime warranty, so many companies have them now.
  5. this trigger started bump firing after about 80 rounds, do 9mm triggers have different disconnectors? if I get a light pull pcc trigger will it still bump fire?
  6. thanks for the link, I changed the trigger to a PSA EPT I had laying around with standard springs and got an 8.4 oz kak buffer that has moving weights (my original one was solid). that seems to have fixed the problem, if it doesn't I'll be back.
  7. I just put together an Aero glock mag AR9, FM bolt,BA barrel, ALG ACT trigger with standard springs, 8 oz extended buffer (based on blowback9's recommended system weight), ar15 spring, factory glock mags, DIY muzzle brake. My issues are varied. If I shoulder the rifle firmly or hold it against a wall, it short strokes and won't reset the trigger. if I shoulder it lightly, it will bump fire 3-4 rounds. if I don't shoulder it at all, it runs perfectly. can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks p.s. I tried a carbine buffer in it, bad idea
  8. the main advantage to a match saver on a tube gun is if it locks open we can't fill the mag tube with the bolt open. if we drop the bolt on an empty chamber we must then either pull the trigger or push a tiny button to load a round onto the carrier. what shotgun are you using? the operating system decides whether a match saver is worth having. but on the other hand, they're cheap so why not?
  9. depending on the rifle, trigger, optic etc.. I would expect 2-3 MOA from a run of the mill ar-10
  10. I tried searching and didn't come up with much, other than make sure the extension doesn't interfere with a smooth transition to the mag body. I decided to just remove it
  11. My shadow 2 will intermittently not load the second round out of a full magazine. I have the henning base pads and the grams follower /spring. I put 23 rounds in the mag, load 1, press check, and make sure mag is seated. I don't barney up. it also has a 13 lb recoil spring. I'm thinking about just taking the extension off until I get through my reloads and increasing the load.
  12. no worries, I knew what you meant
  13. The first thing i would do is loosen and retorque your rings to the manufacturers recommended torque, if they're to tight it will limit your ability to adjust it. also if there's a lot of windage dialed into the scope to get it over to zero that will affect how much elevation adjustment you have. a neat trick is to put a mirror in front of the objective lens and hold it just right underneath a light and you'll see 2 crosshairs. one of them is optical zero and the other is where the crosshairs have been dialed to. My scope has a 20 moa base, medium rings, and a scope with 30 mil of total elevation adjustment. It's zeroed at 100 yds, and I have 20 mils of usable dialing available. your scope has 23 mils of total elevation adjustment, I would expect it to have more than 8 available based on my experience.
  14. I highly recommend adding a ratchet to a 3 gun belt, mine spontaneously detached on the clock once. thankfully I had already used my pistol so no DQ. I immediately bought a ratchet. I use a DAA belt with tekloks and ELS clips bolted to them. I can then just use one belt for everything and just leave the tekloks on the belt year round
  15. I would try numrich gun parts and see if they have them or know the specs
  16. on the basic set of razors, the microphone is not directional. they take a little getting used to, try playing with the volume settings some
  17. I seat and crimp on one position as well. it took a little while to get it just right, but now it's working pretty well. I case gauge each round, and the couple I come across that dont pass, I run through a factory crimp die and they're good to go.
  18. I would contact the manufacturer and ask what the OAL (overall length) is. my shadow 2 will only accept ~ 1.100 OAL rounds
  19. I had the taccom caddies, after a couple seasons the shells I was using had a tendency to slide down in the holders when I ran. I ended up modifying them with a "floor" they work great now. I wish I had bought quad load caddies initially and just put in the practice. if you have decent size hands it's not that hard to learn, just watch a video on how to stage the rounds

    TSO with SRO

I would keep a really close eye on that mount, I had one on my P320 that failed after about 50 rounds. the dovetail portion of the mount deformed and my optic almost fell off the gun.
  21. carry optics is going to be very strong until limited optics is introduced (who knows when..) by looking at the current trends in the firearms market, red dots are just getting started. it won't be long until the pistol dot market resembles the rifle dot market and becomes the de facto standard, with high quality inexpensive options
  22. I really like my delta point pro, excellent glass quality, good warranty, shake awake, down side is not super robust and low battery life. if I got a vortex I'd get the venom due to the battery being easier to replace. from what I've heard the SRO and the romeo 3 max have the current biggest windows.
