Chills1994
I have been reloading on Dillon 550’s or 650’s since the early 2000’s . Every Dillon powder measure that I get receives the Dillon Powder Measure retrograde treatment. That entails drilling out the rivet for the bell crank …and some other things…and buying the two old school powder bar return springs: There might…cough…cough…MIGHT ….cough be a time in your future when you will want to run the Dillon Powder Measure in station #3 or #4 of your 750. There is obviously no attachment on the “ram” for the bottom of the failsafe rod if you do move the PM to the #3 or #4 slot. You should buy the tension springs directly from Dillon, though. Brooke
Rotate the powder hopper until the failsafe rod is straight. Then rotate the upper block holding the actuator rod until the rod is staight and doesn't bind. Tighten everything down and never think of this again. 0099
On mine, that FS rod just didn’t have enough “axle” in the offset, It does now. I’ve loaded 700 9mm thus far, and everything is running smooth as a baby’s butt. One case made it thru upside down was my only issue. Wish I had done this a long time ago. Thanks for the input all. XMachinist
Xl750 failsafe rod. I had to rework the 90° elbow to create sharp bends and bend the rod for alignment. No where near as nice of a set-up as my
