ddc
Not as quick and easy compared to iron sights where I just strip it down and toss the whole shebang into a bucket of solvent. Any tips or tricks? I've tried masking off the red dot but that hasn't worked all that great.
RePete
I just clean it by hand, being careful not to slash the optic.
dapribek
I keep the cover on my optic and just clean carefully too.
StefVanHauwe
Same for my optic on a mount fixed to the frame of my open gun. I clean carefully by hand to avoid any chemical go onto the RD body or lens.
ddc
Thanks guys. That's what I've been doing. Didn't want to miss out if there was a clever way to do it other than that. I need to get a better fitting cover for the optic.
