Rear sight for old Canadian Para P16-40

I would like to put an adjustable rear sight on my P16-40.  I don't want to replace the front sight. Can somebody tell me of a sight that will fit my pistol? I have emailed several companies asking the same question but they haven't responded back

I also would like to know where i can buy self tapping screws for magazine base pads

 

Any recommendations would be appreciated

What sights cut does it have, fixed or adjustable, a picture would help

if it’s a fixed sight you will most likely need a taller front sight

I can't seem to get my camera settings low enough to upload a picture. It is old military type dove tail sight if that helps any

To get a decent rear sight that'll work with your current front, you'll likely need to mill the rear of the slide to accept a Bo-Mar or LPA type sight.

 

There are some sights that may work, but they can be brittle, considering the tiny parts that they must use to stay compact.  MMC sights come to mind....

 

You can simulate the classic Bo-Mar sight picture with a set from MGW.  Not adjustable, but I've found them to be very close to zero...

Honestly I'd send it to a gunsmith to have it milled for an LPA sight and the front milled for a dovetail sight.
