cbrussell
I have a DAA Range Pro Cart and would like to know what people who have them use for a shade umbrella? Thanks.
Farmer
Don’t have your setup but I picked up an umbrella at Cabelas for my boat that’s fairly nice. Think it’s about 6’ across and has an adjustable pole for length. If you can find one that’s vented, that would help if it gets breezy. Unregistered
Buy a large and cheap golf umbrella. Grab a PVC tube that will fit the handle of said umbrella. Drill a hole through the pipe, put a bolt through and secure with a nut. Zip tie on to the range cart. Put umbrella in as needed.
Ronemus
I use a different method to mount a full-sized beach umbrella to my Fold-It cart - I use a PVC pipe as a sleeve and secure it to the cart with u-bolts, and use a wood slat between the pipe and cart as a spacer. The umbrella goes through the pipe and is screwed into the ground when possible - that makes for a more secure installation when it's breezy. My umbrella has a joint to tilt it, and that really helps to make the shade useful when the sun is low.
Intheshaw1
I would go beach umbrella or small patio table umbrella. I shot in the rain a couple weeks ago and one of the guys had a huge umbrella on his cart and we all took cover under it in between shooting and resetting. It is cheap and it works.
