Advice on equipment for newbie

Just getting into the sport. What do you all recommend for a belt? Not looking for anything fancy, just something to start out with and then upgrade down the road. TIA!

I'd recommend the DAA or SC belt. You can get away with a cheaper holster and pouches on a good belt and they aren't super expensive.

After owning DAA and Shooter's Connection, I prefer Shooter's Connection.

 

But either one will work and neither is something you'll need to upgrade later.

I’m shooting a Shooters Connection belt and love it, it’s perfect for what I need it for and I’ll probably purchase another for a single stack setup

Your choice of belt my also be determined by which sport you are shooting.  Most people who shot USPSA go with a two piece belt like Double Alpha, CR Speed, or Shooter Connection.  If you are shooting IDPA you would want a single belt choice like Safariland ELS, Blade Ultimate Carry, or the belt you wear everyday.
