BEST 1911 Ejector for 45ACP and 9MM uppers?

Hey guys, I'm converting a few 45acp frames (one for me and one for a buddy) to host 9mm uppers.

Both frames are ramped (his is Springfield Champion Loaded, mine is a Pantera 2011).

So I am wondering if I could use one ejector to work with both calibers?

I was looking at this one: https://shopwilsoncombat.com/Extended-Ejector-38-Super_9mm_45-ACP-Colt-Government_Commander_Officers-Blue/productinfo/34S/

Does anyone else have a success story with a single ejector handling both 45acp and 9mm?

thanks!

I use the Brazos tuned ejector for 9mm single stack, 38SC open and 40 limited with no problems. Should work with 45 but I have not installed one in a 45. Haven’t shot any of my 45s in years. Can always call Brazos and ask.

I have all of my .45’s slides cut for a 9mm ejector channel so that I don’t have this issue. I can swap 9mm, .40 and .45 slides all day long

What ejector do you use to handle both 9mm and 45acp?

Hmm, interesting - my SPS Pantera slide in 45acp looks to be cut for 9mm ejector already. When locked I can see a GAP from the ejector to the middle of the slide, empty space. I tried sliding it onto my Springfield 1911 and it has the width for the 9mm ejector, but not the height clearance. The 9mm ejector is a smidge too tall...could this mean SPS has all their slides cut for 9mm??? And all I need is a tuned ejector for this to work???

possibly, unfortunately I do not have a SPS so I cannot tell you for sure but I would not be surprised if the slide was cut for a 9mm ejector.
