Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk Yes I have already done the load development and I am going up 1/10th of a grain on the SP. N320 is a fabulous propellant but its expensive. Sport Pistol meters a little better and I think it's a little more accurate. I had a small POI shift up. I am using Sport Pistol for 40 and it shoots soft as well (I use 180's). My velocities are always lower than most posted velocities on this forum, and I live in the mountains. I got between 880-905 (12 feet behind the chrono) depending on the gun. I am igniting the propellant with Federal 100's. The load data listed on Aliants website has much shorter COL's than mine and I have considered shortening the round to 1.135. BUT, we have run about 25K of this COL and it runs super well in Glocks and STI's (well I have one STI that needs a little tuning now shocker). adamastergunner
Wanted to ask the group if the load and OAL provided by DD78 on the first page would change if I went from playyed 147gn bullet to 147gn FMJ from RMR? I want the same PF. Thanks again for all the information. Edited February 13, 2020 by adamastergunner

I'd start off with the DD78 load and check it out with a chrono and assume you are going to have to add a bit to go from plated to jacketed at the same bullet weight to get the same velocity. Off the top of my head I would guess that very approximately you would need very approximately about 0.2 grains more. (very approximately) Edited February 13, 2020 by ddc

Makes 133 PF all day long out of 4.15" barrels. And is so soft it feels like cheating... Trace: Thanks for sharing your load information! I've got ~5k of the Zero 147g JHP and want to develop an accurate load for, primarily, my '19 Stac P. Of course, I've got plenty of N320. This will definitely prove useful! Anxiously waiting for an RL1100....... Thanks again.

Never use OAL's found in manuals or provided by another user, always determine your own.
