dansedgli
I bought a 2nd hand 9mm Edge the other day. Do these normally have long or short chambers? I had an STI lawman that could take 1.16 but no 9mm Edges. I'll try some factory ammo tomorrow when I get to the range but I currently have the following that doesn't plunk (sized cases are fine). 9mm major ammo at 1.165 - 1/4 of the case sticks out. 9mm minor using 125 grain coated conicals at 1.120. Ammo I was using in my shadow 2 with coated 122 flat points and 123 copper plated. 1.1 for the the copper plated. Can't recall the length of the flat points but they are short. What is the best throating reamer to buy? There are no good gunsmiths nearby.
Powder Finger
I would call a reamer company tell what you need to do (throating reamer is what they used to be called) there may be a different preferred leade angle from the last time i got one. davsco
i don't know chamber dimensions, but other than two clearly mag-related issues, my new 9mm edge has eaten a variety of 124 & 147 factory ammo with no problems in the couple of matches i have used it in, as has my 9mm eagle. haven't tried 115. TimHawkins
I have loaded some 124 bayou out to 1.175 and they function in my Edge. I think most sti pistols are long throated and will handle pretty long oal ammo.
