CMA555
The problem was intermittent at first but now the trigger does not reset after each shot, I must re rack the slide to reset the trigger after each shot. This happens with both factory and reloaded ammunition. I cleaned the trigger assembly with spray cleaner and oil but it did not make a difference. Has anyone experienced this and offer some insight and a remedy Edited September 6, 2018 by CMA555
redpillregret
I’ve not run Tangfos, but other DA/SA guns do this when the trigger return spring is bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HesedTech
Not enough information to help. What model of Tanfoglio, has it been worked over by a smith or is it completely stock, and any other info you can add will help. These guns are really simple with very few parts. Oh, BTW, BOLD letters are considered shouting in the internet. You must be really frustrated, I know I hate it when things don't run right. kneelingatlas
If you've already mailed it out, it's a little late for troubleshooting, but it sounds like backing out the pretravel and over travel screws would have been a good start. Youngeyes
Welcome to the Forums. There is a whole sub forum on your type of gun. Kneelingatlas is one of the biggest contributors to that forum. https://forums.brianenos.com/forum/202-tanfoglio-eaa-ifg/
