Wisemenofgotham
The RMR Type 2 (I prefer the RM06 and RM07 models) is truly a "go to war optic" in my opinion as well. Highly recommend if you're expecting some hard use.
yigal
i don't use aimpoint for shooting.only for my experiments. when i shot open i used only tasco pdp2 . i received aimpoint type5000 c as a present in some competition. just now i came from s.range . have fan with .22 cz convertion and others .saw few gays from military shooting with new Roni carbine convertion with meprolight sight. they didn't understood why at 50y gun accuracy better than on 15y . Janskis
I can confirm that slideride parallax error seems a lot worse at less than 5 metres. The parallax can also be set on a fixed distance (some scopes have variable parallax), and the slideride parallax seems to be a bit further, or then the optical quality is just bad
adamge
Keep in mind that even the fancy variable optics have parallax error at all but the one range they are optimized for. Most of the 1-4/6/8 optics are set to be parallax-free at 100y, but inside and outside that range they will shift just like your red dot.
