DesertTortoise
I needed a new stand so I was looking for a deal on eBay. I decided to try out plastic 3x toolhead stand. Bottom line is that I think this is a good buy. Pros: -costs the same as or slightly less than the single Dillon unit ($23 shipped), but holds 3 vs 1 toolhead-Takes less bench space than 3 single stands-is as durable as it needs to be (the product description doesn’t say but it is a thick plastic, not stamped metal) Cons: -no provision to secure it to the bench-the shellplate holder is oversized so the plates drop through and rest on the bench top. I had initially thought I may be able to hang this on a peg board, but that is not feasible.-it’s only as durable as it needs to be (some people don’t like plastic) Looks like they sell similar stands for 550, 650, Lee, and Hornady Here is a link: https://www.ebay.com/sch/mcraftdesign/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= I’m have no relationship with this product / seller except that I bought one and like it
78Staff
I've got one of these as well, had it for about a year, has held up fine. I only have couple toolheads setup for the 550 now as most have been moved over to the 1050. This works good for those and keeps them out of the way. RePete
As for not mounting to the bench, it's an easy fix. Position the stand where you want it, drill 2 holes either side of the middle set and screw to the bench.
slavex
to mount to peg board there are a couple solutions, put a couple screws through the front of each shell plate spot, so that the plates can insert, but not fall through. Or for a nice finish, just attach a bottom to it and mount that to the peg board.
