Trigger Options

I polished my PSA stock trigger and put in the JP yellow springs.  It felt pretty good but I was getting about 1 in 10 light strikes.  I put in the original springs and no problems except for the weight.  The HF 24c is nice but a bit pricey for me at this time.  What about their EDT,2,3 or something else?  Any recommendations?

Have you tried it with the stock hammer spring and the JP trigger spring?

You can remove the hook or tail off the back of the hammer. This will lighten the hammer and allow it to strike with more speed with the JP hammer spring. Take a look at a JP hammer to see how it compares to a stock hammer.

 If using the JP springs you need to buy the enhanced reliability springs I believe they're called. It is a red hammer spring and the yellow/gold trigger spring.

What primers are you using?

 

I installed the non-adjustable JP roller trigger and yellow springs (kept the PSA disconnector and hammer) and have no problem lighting off CCI and Winchester primers.  

 

I've not shot any factory ammo with this lower.

Primers. I use a milspec LPK with the JP light springs and with CCI I'll get a FTF about once in every 4-500 rounds. Tula/Wolf run 100%. Trigger pull is just under 3 pounds.

I use Federal and CCI, had problems with both.

I have a HF 24c for sale in the classifieds. Used less than 100 rounds down the pipe

I run the full JP armagedon trigger kit with yellow springs and federal small rifle primers, no light strikes.
