chp5
Anyone tried the Dillon Cactus League Slide as a carry holster? I like the high rise slide design and it's only $24. Thx. Dillon CLS
ima45dv8
Cy, It looks like a slight variant of the Yaqui slide. I think Cooper was fond of the YS for carry. I have two slightly different styles (not Dillon) you can borrow if you's like, to see if it works for you. I wore a slide for a while but eventually returned to an IWB-type rig. FWIW, the Milt Sparks Executive Companion is my favorite, and daily, companion. If you're going to be at Cherokee tomorrow I'll bring them for you. ...Mark
EricW
I don't have that particular holster, but I've been happy with every piece of Dillon Leather I've bought.
herky
I have one each for a Glock 17 and a 1911. Nice, cheap, close to the body carry. Only thing that can hinder the draw is if you catch the front sight on the holster, not a problem with most standard sights tho.

revchuck
I've used this type of holster in the past, and inevitably, due to my natural grace and charm , ended up catching the muzzle on the arm of a chair while sitting down. Not a good move... I mostly use pancake holsters now for OWB carry.
Carlos
Seroiously the best holster I own; the Glock version also serves as my IDPA & occasional Production holster. The Gloc version will also fit: Steyr M9 & M40 (tight) CZ -75, 85 Combat (loose) CZ -97B (tight) 1911 single stack (loose) Probably fits some others as well. Great product. D.C.
