Double alpha race master issues..

I have a 2011 with a Phoenix trinity aluminum grip. The issue I'm having is the tigger guard is catching the top of my double alpha magnetic (svi steel) racemaster holster on the draw. Anyone else have these issues? Gun locks in just fine! Just on the tail end of the draw it snags, I say 40% of the time it happens.

I filed the block a little on my STI block for my EVO and it works great.  I had the same issue and filed a little more.  If you take the block out, you can see where you need to file to fit the profile perfectly.

They make a specific block for the PT grip.

I use this and it works perfectly.

Yeah I was having issues with my STI block hanging up with the PT grip.  That happened about twice in practice and once in a match and I ordered the PT block.  It didn't cost me much at all after I sold the STI block.  Well worth it.

I have the thumb screw tightening racemaster and have an EVO grip on order. How much filing do you reckon I'll have to do to fit it? Is the PT frame just thicker?

It will take you less than 5 minutes. You can see easier if you take the block out. Few passes with a file and you are done. Put the grip in and you will see where the edge of the tang on the block hits the grip.
