Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Yea I have had decent results running the mixed set up
  2. I have had nothing but problems with my max mags. Nothing against the company. Just have had rds roll past the Followers. Also I pulled a brand new magazine out of the bag 170.. It didn’t pass the EGW mag gauge. Had to file it. I know they say do not use other followers or Springs, I plan on trying the grams internal regardless.
  3. You can also clean the front light sensor on the front of the optic. With my open gun/equipped with blast shield. I would still get debris in the sensor. Take some compressed air and blowed out.
  4. What I have done is taken a small amount of dye electric grease and spread it along the side and the bottom of your battery. Since I have done that I have had zero dot failure. The grease prevented oxidation and loss of contact.
  5. Personally I would run a 8lb. What you are really looking for is a properly timed gun. Pretty much you want the gun to return to lock up with minimal site/dot movement. To much spring will cause the gun to dip and buck. To lite will cause the slide stay open in excess. If you have an iPhone or smart phone with solo motion you can record the action of the gun and determine what the gun is doing.
  6. Micro dot or 90degree is the only option for a open gun not running 38sc or 38tj. Asking for problems if you run 9 with the traditional cmore mount.
  7. I tapped it and also took 2 treads off the screw allowing it to go deeper. Breach face then tightened up. Also the slide/ breach face is loose fitting so it actually just slipped right on no issues.... probably not a good thing. Lol so right now it's in and tight.. let's see how long this last.
  8. Dude I totally read that when I did research.... must have read to fast and over looked it. Yea I'm gona order a bottom out tap. Thanks!!!! Still gona give them a buzz tomorrow and get their thoughts on the situation. Once again guys thanks
  9. Hey guys I have an infinity slide on a custom open gun I bought used. Regardless 8,000 rds in i head a clunk while cleaning the slide, come to find out the breach face was loose and the reason I didn't notice it earlier was due to the firing pin holding the breach face screw with a little tension when it was fully together. Once I removed the firing pin, it very clear there was foward and rear ward slop in the removable breach face. Took it apart and cleaned the threads, firing pin tunnel, slide face, extractor tunnel after removing the extractor... I then put it back together (with out the extractor, and with out loctite) just wanted to see what I was dealing with before I when on with it. After assembling and snugging up the breach face screw/beach face there was still a significant amount of slop in the breach face... so I ordered a new 9-L breach face from infinity and screw. Installed it today when I got home and still had the same amount of slop. Looks like the hole in the slide it's self is wallered/worn out a little.... so efff me.. my only other option is to try and tap the removable breach and make the threads go a little deeper in the breachface in hopes to snug up the screw to the slide. (In the removable breach face there is still room to go a little deeper. I do not know why infinity use a tapper tap vs using a flat bottom tap and going all the way to the firing pin hole. I'm sure they didn't expect the slide hole to Waller out..) do any of you guys know what thread pitch a removable breach face screw is for an infinity slide? Thanks guys, this is my attempt so save my self 1500$ in fitting a new slide with cuts and all the bells and whistles.
  10. Totally cool lol safer then sry!!
  11. I do have a SS cheely comp on the gun though.
  12. Thinking about posting up my alumni grip for trade on the classifieds. I feel like it had a very funny vibration. Now will y'all say the SS had a dead blow feel?
  13. I'm using precision delta 124 jhp
  14. I have an old STi gram (SN# SAS) it's already got a PT alumni grip on it. What are the odds the new Evo grip would pop on there with minimal fitting? Does the alumni grip tend to be more forgiving in figment? I bought the gun with it already on there. Just waiting for it to crack..
