bigdawgbeav
So this might be a stupid question... can a race holster be used with a regular belt rather than a double belt? Can they slide on and off easily enough?
Jay870
Most of them use a clamp style belt mount where two halves are screwed together, so it would be a matter of loosening the screws to slide it on/off. Many of them also have a channel in the outside mount plate so that the belt recesses into the plate for stability, so you'd want to make sure your belt is appropriately sized. I didn't know how much play there might be with the screws on those plates.

zzt
Usually you have trouble getting the screws in in the first place. You really want the holster clamps tightened as much as possible so your draw isn't affected. Then there are the mag pouches. Putting them and the holster on while you are wearing the belt would be next to impossible. You cannot put them on first, because you would not be able to get them through your belt loops. The inner and outer race belt combo really is the way to go.
