brytec
Is this legal to say that turkey load is good to shoot the spinner when it says from stage procedure to shoot with birdshot only?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

jrswanson1
Every match I've been to limits the shot size to either 6 or 7 1/2. Some say no high-brass shells. Check the rules for that range/match.
Chriswakey
What's the reasoning behind no high brass shell's??
brytec
I guess probably 3gun nation rulesSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jrswanson1
No high brass is a rule specific to some ranges. Since they're "magnum" shells, they're going faster than standard dove/clay games shells. Which is why I had "some" in my post. YMMV.
AustinT
#6 is birdshot. Turkeys are also birds. Good to go unless the rulebook says otherwise.
kurtm
Geese are also birds as are Herrons BBs and T shot must be ok as well right?? I'm sure that there is a bird called an Emu that would be hunted with a single projectile so slugs HAVE to be ok! How about a punt gun loaded up with a couple of hands full of nuts and bolts, they used those for bird hunting. Last bird I shot was with a 308 so maybe its allowed since it shot a bird? .......and now you know why we can't have nice things!!!
somebrains
A buddy of mine had like 2k rds of lead #6. It's what I'm using bc I got it off him cheap. It conforms to whatever rules I've seen so far.
