leon1333
Does anyone have a recipe for 3n38 for 9 mm major? Thanks
Hi-Power Jack
You might want to read some of the old postings here at BE ... Just click on "Forums" (top left of your screen) ... Scroll down to Reloading, and then down to 9mm/.38 ... Lots of good info there
Sarge
HPJ hit it on the head. Or you can just type 3n38 in the search window

user293
I've googled "3n38 9 major" or something along those lines and then read all the articles from this forum. I know what OP is getting at. I'd like to see a little more testing in 115s or guns with holes etc. There not a ton of solid info about n38 in 9 major. It's an awesome powder though. kneelingatlas
I've found the primers are less deformed using lighter bullets at the same PF with the same powder. VV even lists a book load for 9x21 and 115 which makes 171pf: 9.4gr under a 115 @ 1.161"; I load the same in a 9x19 case.
user293
9.4 in a 9X19 that suckers gotta be almost to the brim. Pain to load but I bet it shoots nice.

You just can't run the press like a drunken sailor! As long as you slow the upstroke as the shell plate indexes you'll be OK.
