mpeltier
For what they cost I think their made out of gold.......
ShortBus
Gold would be nice. I wanted to have them hard chromed or nickel plated (think stinky STI mags) but nobody seems to want to do it. The one guy I found who would do it wanted $100+ a magazine
p7fl
I put some Sig 22 mags in an Ultrasonic a few years back. Not good. All the finish came off. I doubt if the 320s are aluminum but....I don't trust them.
ShortBus
That's good to know though, if I get them coated I will have to strip off the finish. How dark was the raw metal?
TacticalReload
Unfortunately, the shift from primarily Mec Gar to primarily Checkmate mags has not been a welcome one with SIG owners.
alma
I had all of mine in a hot ultrasonic with Lucas ultrasonic solution/bore cleaner about a month ago and I will be giving them a bath again soon since a few still have mud on them from the VA/MD Section match. I didn't see any adverse effects and it sure made for easy cleaning.
TacticalReload
I haven't noticed any wear yet on my P320 mags since they haven't seen much use, but my P226 mags (checkmate) had the finish wear/chip almost immediately after insertion of the mags just a handful of times. Maybe the finish on the P320 mags are more sorted out.
