Honeybooboo
I've run 147g American Eagle through a stock 2 and had no issues. Just ordered some Atlanta Arms 124g because I like that they make 130pf and shoot noticeably lighter then the factory stuff like american eagle, umc, etc. Always ran great in my Glock 34. But I'm seeing that they have an OAL of 1.145 which seems pretty long for the stock 2's. Does anybody know the OAL of the 147g American Eagle? Wondering if I'm going to have any issues. eboadway
OAL depends solely on the shape of the ogive. I run 147 and 165 grain Xtremes to 1.15 with no problems, but this length would be too long with other bullets.
texasdawg
I was running 147 xtremes at 1.142 thru a match 9mm barrel. I bought a reamer from Manson and now I run 1.150 thru my match, xdm, and sti. Best upgrade Ive spent money on. One load for all my 9mms,,,
mrd
You have to plunk test in your specific gun/barrel as the freebore vary between barrels.
Honeybooboo
Ok. Guess we will see. Anyone ever use Atlanta Arms in their Tanfos?
johnbu
Ok. Guess we will see. Anyone ever use Atlanta Arms in their Tanfos? Yes. Fit was no problem in a newer 9mm s2...but... I had to manually reseat the primers on the LOADED AMMO due to high primer setting.

You bought ammo from Atlanta Arms, and it had high primers? What did they say when you told them about the problem?

Reseated primers on the live ammo (hint, wear the brown pants... just in case) and went instantly to 100% ignition. If I had more than a few hundred, I'd have made more of it.
