Length is 1.170 tried sevearl different runing a 12 pound variable spring i would post pics but have no idea how to, everybody says it easy but nobody give instructions. any way i sent it back to them the ceo called me said he is going to tune one in his personal gun and sent it to me to see if it works, i think im just gona sell it will see

I have a 9mm 170mm and trust it the same as my SV mags.

I've got 170, 155 and 140s used with both 9mm and SC in guns both my wife and I use. They have been at least as reliable as any other mags I have used, probably more.

My MBX mags hold only 23 in the 140 and 29 (barely) in the 170, but they do run 9 major reliably. Can't get my STIs to do that, even with shims and 1.168" OAL.

It is called salt shaker. A round slips past the follower, once you get down into the area where there are no ribs. Happens more readily with the SVI mags, since their ribs stop pretty darn high. Some people, including Eric here, do the alteration, extending the ribs down a bit, and it prevents that condition.
