NickBlasta
The M1 carbine is a great match gun. They're even more fun if you put on a railed upper handguard with a dot, which is a non-destructive modification. 30 carbine is really hard on steel unless you have AR500 poppers though. 1chota
CMP sells a completely re-built M1 Garand for $1030. It is essentially a brand new rifle. That's a deal!
Dan Sierpina
I paid $265.00 for mine

Dan Sierpina
That tells how old you are! A bit younger than you, my friend! It also shows how long I've been playing shooting games. I think at the time I got the M1, you actually had to shoot DCM matches.
1chota
I remember shooting those matches to qualify. I think I paid $250 for my first one. sigh.
Bryan 45
I bought a couple some time in the last 10 years at $295+shipping. It was right after the CMP started selling the Greek returns. Not as pretty as a lot of the M1s they've sold over the years, but one was a HRA I'm particularly found of.
