mahamoti Posted December 13, 2015 Share Posted December 13, 2015 I've got a few SP-01 mags with the CZC short basepads, and CZC followers with 10 coil springs. I can't get past 22rds in any of them. Could they be using the mec gar 19 rounders and adding the base pad? As far as I know, the mecgar 19's with the short base pads are longer than 140mm. If I use an UpLula, I can get a 23rd in there now, denting the case of the 22nd round and nicking the rim of the 23rd with the feed lips in the process, but then it's near impossible to seat in the pistol, and the magazine bulges and binds in the frame right at the spot where the 5rd witness hole is. Maybe this is a case of "yep, that's how 23rds feels in these mags," and I'm just overanalyzing, but I figured it was better to ask. The springs were cut down from 13s by a CZC tech for me since you guys were/are sold out of the 10s. They look just like the picture of the 10 coil springs from your site, though.
