johnbu
As the topic says. What is the best technique to polish the inside of those areas in the frame? Thanks!
Nealio
I've never polished those. I polish the rod the plunger rides on and the top of the foot of the plunger.
WJM
Roll up some sandpaper, attach to drill. Put inside hole, pull trigger on drill. Viola. I've done it to both of my Tanfo's and it works wonders on both. Don't forget about doing the inside of the plunger, along with the inside of the channel. johnbu
Thanks, will try that. Did the head and rod, but the hole is rough.
kgil275
wood shish kabob skewers work great for wrapping the sand paper around, then chuck it up in a hand drill
MrPostman
Cut the cotton off of one side of a Qtip and chuck the newly bare side in a cordless drill. Put polishing compound on the cotton tip and work it up and down in the plunger hole while spinning it. You don't have to do too much to get a good polish this way.
