  1. This should help guide ya. The EGW sear is way oversized, so it will take a lot of fitting. Getting henning’s sear and hammer combo will make the task easier. Henning does a lot of prep work to the sear in his combo.
  2. Any thought to trying Carry Optics? Last year I was looking for a project. Found a TZ75 pre-88 super cheap. Installed spare parts I had on hand. Extreme delta hammer, extreme disco, small frame extreme firing pin, and long sear. This combo provided the best trigger pull out of all the spare parts I had. Polished it all up, put in all new springs to include a 13# CZ hammer spring and VZ grips for a CZ 75. Then when looking for sight options, which were slim pickings, I just decided to go a different route and had the slide milled for a red dot. Problem solved.
  3. @Avenida is this the thread you’re looking for?
  4. Looks like bayou 147s. http://www.bayoubullets.net/9mm-147-gr-fp-3000-ct-case/
  5. Rowdy, Is the rifling nitride coated? Curious if you had to do anything special to ream the throat of the barrel.
  6. Once you guys start getting the shadow 2, could someone post whether the inside and outside of the barrel is nitride coated? More interested in knowing if the inside of the barrel is coated. Thnx
  7. Any chance of getting a video with the hammer included in the video?
  8. Here is an old post that has a wealth of info.
  9. Has anyone taken a shadow, with the bushing, to a major match and got any push back from the crono crew?
  10. Here is an older thread with a pic. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=159812&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  11. Is your stock 2 running a factory plunger spring? A week plunger spring can allow the trigger bar to slip off the disconnector to soon during DA
  12. What is the advantage of a disconnector with only the left wing? That is, what is the advantage of the Xtreme disco over the stock disco? A disco with only one wing can equate to less friction. The advantage to having only one wing, a left wing, allows the disco to be used with either the one or two piece sear.
  13. The extreme disco has the same dimensions as a standard factory disco. The only difference between the original disco and the extreme is, the extreme only has the left wing.
  14. The Tanfo pilot will be smaller, a loose fit in the CZ barrel, allowing the throat reamer to wobble while you turn it creating an uneven cut. Call Dave and have him add one or more larger pilots. My stock 2 reamer pilot measured .3425. A standard .345 throat reamer fits my CZs. Best way to get the right pilot size is to slug the barrel
  15. Dave does good work and is great to do business with. I purchased a standard 9mm throat reamer from a different company and had the same results on my stock 2. The polygonal barrel wouldn't allow the reamer to fully seat in the barrel and lengthen the throat. Sent my barrel to Dave and he machined a throat reamer with the proper pilot so it would fit my stock 2 polygonal barrel. Once I got it back, 10 minutes of work and I had the desired throat length.
  16. To cool. This may be a blessing in desguise. The FPB you got may just fit the parts you've got on the way. A .505 - .508 FPB is usually needed for the extreme hammer, one peice sear, and extreme firing pin or Henning gen 3 firing pin. The position of the hammer hooks on extreme hammers lower the lifter arm on the one peice sear, hence the longer FPB.
  17. I would just test for now to trouble shoot what is causing the resistance. The firing pin block can be a problem, works to well. I wouldn't try fitting any thing just yet. Wait till you've got all the new parts installed. If the firing pin block isn't allowing the firing pin to move freely, during firing, remove (ever so slightly) from the side that rides the sear
  18. Sounds like something is causing resistance. Have you tried the pencil test without the firing pin block/safety?
  19. wood shish kabob skewers work great for wrapping the sand paper around, then chuck it up in a hand drill
  20. Thanks guys. Since I will still need to drill and tap the mounting holes on the lower receiver of the stock 2, does that change your recommendations?
