Where can we get AS30N or the new named one in the states?

http://shop.pbaimports.com.au/reloading-1/powder/adi-as30N-2kg

Thats about US$25.40 per pound. Pick up only. Come on over, 35 deg C today. Ain't summer great :)

The ADI press release says their new generation powders will start becoming available in the second half of 2016 when their new plant comes online.

Who makes e3. And is it the same as red dot. Think I saw it on another post that it was the same.

Alliant makes e3 and it's not the same powder as red dot. Promo is said to be the same powder less the red flakes.

Correspondence with Alliant leads me to believe that Promo has a broader density specification, also, though it's been a while since I read their reply. In any case, I've used Promo in every pistol/revolver caliber for which I reload (.380 ACP to .45 Colt), and have never had less than very good results. In all but a few situations, I had very VERY good results. It is clean, economical, and more versatile than I first expected. I tend to shy away from using it in very large cases, like the .45 Colt, because I am paranoid about double-charges (I prefer Unique or Herco in it for this reason), but if nothing else is available, Promo will certainly work and work well. The little competition in which I've engaged while using Promo made me appreciate it more. It is very much an "unsung hero" among prospective competition powders.

I've had the same results. Promo does well in 40 major for me. There are a few good threads here about Red Dot and Promo.
