STI when will these ship?

Looks like they did ship out some, one up on GB for $3,000. That seems a little crazy with the DVC being $2,600! Anyone know if STI plans on producing more of these? I really like the look, but I'm praying the MAP/MSRP are well below that auction list price.

Huge shoutout to STI who gave me the hook up on this, got it from Sportsman's Loft in ND. Got on his wait list in March, and was lucky enought to get the first one he got in!

Just do it like I did my DVC, oil the heck out of it, run 500-1k rounds through it over a week then strip it down and clean the daylights out of it.

Getting tired of the run around from STI on this gun. In March I was told by the end of April, in May I was told mid June and this week i was just told late July to early August. Really turning me off to dealing with them after the DVC situation.

Cancelled mine yesterday, tired of getting the run around on ship dates. Essentially gave STI an interest free loan for 6 months.

Did you order directly from STI and pre-pay in full? Because if not, it really seems like an issue with your retailer. Brazos was very straightforward when I ordered in early Feb that although STI was giving a March ship date, I should expect May - June delivery, and they came through on that. They also required a minimal deposit, and I guarantee the interest on $400 for a couple months isn't worth the time and effort involved in taking an order.

I ordered through a friends FFL, but dealt directly with STI, I was given three different delivery dates for this gun, by STI.

The dealer I work for orders direct from STI. I've never heard of STI taking a deposit on orders.

This, seems odd not just ordering from one of the big guys and using your friend as the FFL to ship to. Dawson would be who I would go through.

Vary limited run of 150 ea...

Stocking dealer special...

Lightest "IDPA Leagal" slide profile (tri toped + hex serrations)...

"IDPA Leagal" light rail...

This is the ultamat ESP gamer gun...

Plus pretty much GTG for 3gun...

I will wait for mine however ..long it takes.

STI is dealer direct, my friend is an STI dealer, I get my gun at dealer cost, why would I order from Dawson or Brazos? Ordered my DVC same way...

So who did you give the interest free loan to? STI or your friend? Again never heard of STI taking deposits.

Wonder why STI prefers to deal with dealers and not retail sales...

Peter, this is not an issue of dealer vs retail, this is an issue of STI not fulfilling promised delivery dates and failing to communicate effectively with their dealer network. When 4 different ship dates are given for an item that is a short run with different excuses every time it has no matter whether it is dealer or individual. It took talking to the CEO to get a straight answer. Similar issues occurred and are occurring with the DVC line. STI makes an amazing product at one hell of a price, but that is only part of the process, communicating effectively with your supply line and giving straight answers to your dealer network are huge. As far as deposit, I don't know where that even entered into the conversation, the entire $30k order was paid for upfront at SHOT, when delivery dates were set.
