  1. Mine only has about 3k rounds fired without issue. Trigger is right around 2.5 out of the box. I did have a PT metal grip installed but that wasn't needed. I've seen three DVC Open slides crack locally, but haven't seen that with a Limited version.
  2. Adam is a good guy and stands behind his product 100% Several shooters I have known with his guns and they are happy.
  3. I'm shooting major and have used as light as 12# in my DVC. I recently went back to 14#, my splits are better with the 14. I have run as light as 10# with minor loads. I have used black and blue plastic shock buffs as well as the aluminum EGW version. Not sure which I prefer or is they make a real difference. I believe the aluminum is in it currently.
  4. My buddy has two newer Deltas and an older unfired blued example. His Deltas have worked just great, no problems with various ammo including some mixed HP ammo he was given. He does avoid some of the super hot 10mm ammo that's out there. He likes them enough that he is looking to pick up one of the new versions with Dawson style sights. He is sending one of the others to be polished to a mirror finish.
  5. I've been using the Lee Undersize dies from EGW without issue.
  6. I was squared with two CO shooters at a small local match yesterday. Not sure how many shot Saturday. But it's growing around here.
  7. Hate to be a dick, but my Atlas is getting ready for it's second trip back for repair. My custom Limited Atlas never worked right but he has one last chance to fix it. I might be hurting myself by posting this, but contact Gans.
  8. Timely thread for me. Just picked up 4# of 310 today. It was recommended to me for use with 200 grain in 40. But they never suggested a specific recipe. For those of you who have succeeded with 310 in 40 with 180-200 projectiles, what were the ranges for powder weight under coated and jackets bullets?
  9. My DVC 40 S&W with PT SS aggressive grip weighs in at 53.6 ounces with an empty magazine in it.
  10. Had to go to my Back up this weekend. Glad I had it.
  11. I had the same experience working with Adam on my Limited build. Very positive.
  12. That's my gun. It's really nice. It replaces my DVC as my primary gun. I should had gone with a full custom right from the start instead of installing a metal grip, sv trigger, EGW ambi safety on my DVC. Gun ended up costing about the same as a full custom one did. Don't use 9 for USPSA, go 40 S&W. Nice Ed. Good luck with it. You shooting it at Spring Blast? Yes, I'm glad it came in time. Not much time to test it but so far it's excellent.
  13. My DVC Limited has been really nice. About 3.3k rounds and the only two malfunctions have been reload related. I case gauge all rounds now. I work for a STI dealer. We haven't seen issues with the Limited guns. The Open versions have had issues.

  15. I come from a Muscle Car/Drag Racing background. This is cheap compared to that. My Brother raises Horses and that costs a fortune. It is really up to you. I have a buddy that shoots his old service Glock in production and has minimal costs overall. Others have $7,000 Open pistols and travel all over. That gets expensive. But everyone decides what they want.
  16. I wanted my gun done like that. But had to go NP3. The gun isn't finished and I already know I'm not going to happy with it. I may just lose my 1k deposit and find another builder down the road that will use someone like Calico to finish the gun. I agreed to go with the new finish but now think the gun is a waste of money if I'm not happy. I may just continue shooting my DVC. I was starting to get over it, but seeing your gun again settles the decision.
  17. I like Hard Chrome, and I'm a fan of the work done by APW. NP3 seems to be very popular these days and maybe a nice option.
  18. Hard Chrome looks good on an entire gun. Holds up well.
  19. I have a DVC Limited that Atlas installed a PT SS grip. Adds a lot of weight to the pistol. I feel the DVC is now a little heavy towards the grip, light in the front. Gun feels like it flips more than before. I may see if a lighter magwell helps, but I really don't want to put more money into this gun. That may be less of an issue with the heavier Edge slide. Good choice going with Atlas. I have Adam building my next Limited gun. Excellent work and easy to deal with.
  20. The brass that comes out of my VP9 looks like that. A small step, but resizes just fine.
  21. Not sure why anyone is waiting on these. They come in fairly regularly.
  22. No, mine is smooth. As are the others I handled.
  23. My buddy and I have used a couple of them. They fit very nice and are very solid when installed.
  24. I have used the SV non tri glide and the EGW stuff. I would use either and would mix the SV trigger with the EGW parts.
