1eyedfatman
Thinking of setting up a G34 with a magwell. Idpa esp and whatever else I can use it in...multigun, 3gun, steel. Started looking at Dawson but will check out the others. Brass is more $ but heavier and the extra weight may feel good and help some with recoil. What's the best way to go? Butterpuc
keep in mind brass is illegal in IDPA. Zev makes a SS model, it has a brass plug, so you may need to buy the aluminum plug to hold the SS magwell. Or just don't shoot IDPA with a brass magwell. 1eyedfatman
totally missed the brass rule as was looking under esp section only. That makes the decision easy. Aluminum or ss it is.
asr1
I have DP Ice aluminum with the steel insert plug on my 35 Gen 4 to fit the medium beaver tail strap I mainly use it for 3 gun and IPSC.The insert for the ice is very slick. Also looks and fit perfect. DP have a good solid products.

obsessiveshooter
I have the aluminum dp ice in my g35. I wish I had spent more on a heavier magwell.
DreGarciaTAT2
totally missed the brass rule as was looking under esp section only. That makes the decision easy. Aluminum or ss it is. Zev makes a magwell that is specific for IDPA, it's aluminum and the one I use. I don't think using it in USPSA limited is that much of a drawback. The Added brass weight is awesome, but not necessary if you just want one magwell for both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
