Endall Posted January 12, 2015 Share Posted January 12, 2015 As long as the extractor hooks on the 9mm fired casing. The difference in diameter is only 0.02 inches. The breech face does not need to be as exact as the chamber. The pic of the Tanfoglio barrel makes me think, can a 9mm barrel be fit in a 10mm slide? Supposedly the extractor of the 40 slide will only grab the 9mm case just a little bit. Anyone heard of issues about that? Anyways I´ve ordered a 9mm barrel from CZUB and will see how that goes. I am sure the breechface is slightly larger on the TS .40 slide. Typically 9mm pistols cannot go up to .40 due to the smaller breechface but .40 can go down to 9 with a barrel change, extractor change, and the appropriate magazines.
