Gdub
I came accross a CZ 97B in 45 acp. It looks like a SP01 and it has a black bushing on the front like an accu-shadow. All the rest of the gun looks like standard CZ stuff. What is this gun and is it desirable? Thanks,
huskerlrrp
Most likely it is a standard stocked item at CZ-USA. http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-97-b-45-acp-black-aluminum-grips-fo-front-sight-10-rd-mags/ I find they can be worked over like the 75B platform and shoot quite well. mgardner
I have one converted to single action only and shoot it on Limited 10 major. It's very accurate. It's the new model with the aluminum grips and black polycoat finish. The earlier ones it is rumored had feeding issues so I would avoid them. Gdub
So what is one worth with a bushing? Thanks
mgardner
The bushing is standard equipment on the 97. New they go for about $750.00. Used it would depend on the condition and if it's the new model or original.
Joe L
I just ordered a 97B"E" from CGW. CGW will install a match bushing and send me a bag of parts to make it SAO and have the same feel as my 75B. It will be a bullseye match gun with a Burris Fast Fire III 3 moa sight. twowheels
The BE is an incredible firearm, superbly accurate and with a wonderful trigger.
kneelingatlas
For what it's worth I found the 97B to be too tall in the hand for my liking, the EAA witness is a very similar gun with a lower profile slide and the ability to swap calibers.
