Julien Boit
Hi all, I've been looking at the JP lightweight buffer to use in conjunction with the low mass carrier and adjustable gas block. It seems that you must use a rifle buffer tube with it. The problem is that I want to keep my carbine tube and stock. Is it possible to use the original buffer but without any weight inside ? Thanks in advance.
jon49erfan
The standard carbine buffer is almost the same weight as the jp lmos
XxMerlinxX
Get a delrin buffer if you truly want something lightweight.
Julien Boit
I just checked on both Stag (I own a 3G) and JP website and indeed, both buffers weighs the same. Thanks for the info guys :-)
Light700
I switched to the Taccom and have been really happy with that so that is an option for you as you can run it with a carbine tube
EkuJustice
I have even made a light weight one by swapping plastic spacers/wooden spacer for the metal ones to the weight I want. For me it was a lot cheaper to do that to the A2 I had than app a JP
GreenDragon64
I just emptied all the weights out of my carbine buffer.
BrocDowns
You can use their silent captured spring in a carbine receiver extension, it also comes with a spacer to run it in a rifle length extension also
Julien Boit
Thank you all for all the infos. I'm going the easy and cheap way : I keep my current carbine buffer
