Sadly I found out the hard way just how poor the stock grip screws are. I had loctited them in (blue) and messed one up trying to remove it. They are very soft. Even with heat one wouldn't budge and more effort made it worse. I tried a screw extractor without success and ended up cutting it flush with the frame. I'm having it drilled out tomorrow and tapped for an "American" thread. I'll do the same on the other side and buy more easily available stainless screws that I will install with O rings.
