CZ 75 Upper?

Anyone know where I might be able to find a CZ75 Upper in 9MM? Preferably a Shadow upper. I know thats like a next to impossible request but if anyone would know you guys would.

I do know CZ Custom has some, but I'm trying to stay south of $650 if I can, since I can get a whole Shadow for $795 (which may be the direction I have to take)

Thanks!

So buying a SP01 and removing the plunger safety would not be legal because it is disabling a safety. What about putting an SP01 slide on a Shadow frame?

It seems like it would be legal to leave out the plunger safety when replacing the slide assuming it's going on a Shadow lower.

I am speaking about USPSA Production rules of course. Not sure how IDPA would work.

Saw that one, still not sure if thats the one I want. Was kinda of looking for used to see whats out there so I can save a few $$ if possible. If not I may just go that route.

I have the CZ 75 so would need a B Upper most likely to do that. I'd prefer to keep it in the Shadow line though if possible.

Here is my dilemma with this... if I am just going to get an Upper for $495 why not buy a whole Shadow for $795 and then I'd have 2 guns...... I know its $300 more, but then I would have a complete backup gun...gahhhh decisions!

Then get the $650 top end and have a less expensive Custom. LOL

My whole point is if I'm going to pay $650 for an upper why not get a Shadow and make it a Custom myself and then I have 2 guns instead of 2 slides 1 frame (sounds like a porn haha)

I've got a CZ75B upper with a CZ Custom Extended Firing Pin, reduced power spring, and fixed sights. Barrel and breech face look good. Round count unknown but it can't be that high, I don't use it much. If interested, message for pics. Chronos great, Winchester Train and Defend 147 grain just averaged 948 over the chrono with very little deviation between rounds. $275

Do yourself a favor and buy the shadow and sell your gun.

The Shadow slides are an awesome option for people who live in communistic states like California who cannot typically buy these guns and for those who don't like shooting .40 out of their cz 75's.

If you buy the slide, there is a bit of fitting involved and you will probably want to change out the sights and possibly the firing pin. You would also need a spacer to replace the lifter arm that pushes on the firing pin block. If you are not familiar with the sear cage this might be a hassle.

If you want Shadow like performance go visit Cajun Gunworks. He has a few nifty items that can get you there.

I know all the parts of these guns well, was just trying to sneak by with a slide. I don't have an issue doing work on my guns, in fact I "massage" all my guns to get them to my liking :)

I won't be selling anything, just adding. And honestly if I have to get a new CZ.... Well darn!

Himurax 13, he apparently has a shadow frame. As a result, there would be no work to be done to a shadow upper and for a b upper he would only have to remove the firing pin block. This is assuming the pre-fit upper he gets fits.

This is all not to mention that in reality, the only functional difference in performance between a stock shadow and regular B is a slightly improved trigger pull and a beveled magwell area. I've always thought shadows were stupidly overpriced, having used both. That being said, since he has the shadow frame, he already gets the performance benefits of the shadow.

IMHO, the deal I've offered is the best so far. Even a replacement barrel alone is 150 not including fitment.

I've got an ACCU shadow lite that id like to legalize if you will for the sports I shoot. Hence why I was looking for an upper if it made sense. Seems to be, at least monetarily-wise it would make sense just to get another 75 Shadow and perform my pimpery to it.

Although the deal Whoops offered may come in to play as well

I have an SP01 9mm, low round count (100), bought it for the frame. You can have the complete slide for $300 if you want. That is a FPB slide, would just slide on any CZ75B or SP01 frame.
