kneelingatlas
I bought a used toolhead set up with Lee dies for 38 super (my press was set up for 9mm from the factory) and once I got the dies set I loaded a few dozen rounds last night and had issues with the cases not dropping out of the swing arm (casefeed adapter?) at the bottom of the case feed tube; I figured I needed new adapters for 38 super but the manual says they're the same as 9mm, what gives? benos
The 9mm and Super Casefeed Adaptors are the same. Maybe confirm that your Casefeed Adaptor is indeed: Green, SKU: 13450.
goldfieldshooter
Just done the same and struck the same problem. Cleaned up the drop tubes and green adaptors and problem went away. Just a slight build up of c**p and case lube.

Yes, it's the green one; I'll try cleaning it out.
Service Desk
Change out the screw-in feed bush to a large. Super cases are rimmed and get caught where 9 mm don't.

Guest
I have a 650 set-up with the 9mm/38 super conversion kit and only load 38 super (mostly) and 9mm (some) on it. All I switch is the tool heads/dies. Just as an FYI - it has the dillon P/N: 13513 small casefeed body bushing installed which is the one that comes with the 9mm/38 super conversion. Haven't had any problems feeding cases. A .38 super rim (depending on the brand) is only about 0.010 larger than a 9mm. I'd try cleaning up what you got first. kneelingatlas
I have the large for .40, but I will try cleaning first since ideally I'd like the 38/9 swap to just be the tool head.
kneelingatlas
Update: I just needed to adjust the wedge which trips the case feed swing arm to push it over just a hair more to get the case free of the bushing (I just made up all those terms, so you might not find them in the manual ).
