foo.c
FNG here. I picked this up today. I love it! I would like to eventually convert this to .40 and dip in the Limited waters. Although I can't help but think a 10mm shooting a 220 gr bullet at just over 800 fps would be like cheating. I guess that could be done in 40 though. jacob0
Henning sells the .40 cone barrels for a reasonable price.
kneelingatlas
If you can get most of your brass back (or can afford to lose it) just shoot Limited with 10mm. With the additional case volume you could run heavier bullets with faster powders than .40 without seeing overpressure signs.
Gary1911A1
I like the 10MM, but considering the cost of brass and matches where you can't collect your brass I'd get a .40 barrel and load my .40 long using 10MM magazines. I do it now without problems.
foo.c
40 barrel on the way. Need to get some magazines now.
BrazeauRacing
Would the extractor on a 10mm slide work fine with a .40 S&W barrel installed? foo.c, where did you order your barrel from? kneelingatlas
Yes, 10mm and 40 are identical except the length.

I got it from Henning, but it's loose fitting and not working that well. I think I may have an expensive paper weight. Wanna buy it?

jmbaccolyte
foo.c- I'd contact Henning about the loose fitting replacement barrel; his stuff isn't cheap but it's top quality in my experience.
