Sarge
Why is it that all slide rackers seem to need a different size dovetail cut to fit? I initially had a sidewinder put on my gun and evidently it is bigger than most? Now I can't get any other type of racker to fit and am basically stuck with the sidewinder because the dovetail is too big. I would love to try some of the other flavors out there. Dranoel
Just make one of your own design.
cnote
Or have another dovetail cut elsewhere on the slide and the first one blended in, if you want to go back to the sidewinder, the new cut can be enlarged. I had to have this done on a used open gun I purchased due to the racker coming loose in the cut all time. Previous owner swapped it out due to going to a 90* cmore and needed the extra length to clear it, but the cut was too large
BeerBaron
Leave the current cut but go to a brazos zig racker. It's a smaller cut and goes only half way across. It's also fitted with ball detents for easy removal.
