IHMSA15151
Hi Folks, My wife and I will be on vacation in New Orleans from the 8th through the 30th of October. With a web search I found a fun steel match at the Southern Shooting Center. Any other speed steel type matches or fun shoots (bowling pins, falling plates, etc.) that might be in the area? I don't want to spend my entire vacation touring plantations and eating great food. Well, maybe the eating part.

FAZZ
We have a USPSA match on the first Sunday of every month with a steel match on the 2nd Saturday of the month at southern shooting center in Thibodaux. The Gator Classic is also right around the corner and will also be held there if you are interested on Oct. 24th thru the 26th.
IHMSA15151
Thanks FAZZ, I plan on shooting the steel match but I've never shot USPSA just Steel Challenge, plates, pins & such. I might come and watch the Gator Classic for a bit though and see how that game is played.

LilBunniFuFu
IHMSA, Do you have a rig for steel in a centerfire calibre? If so sign up for the Gator match. You should be familiar with most of the rules and as long as you are safe jumping into a level II is not so bad. Get a few matches in before and you'll be even better. Be safe and have fun.
